this is the first time i’ve ever done a bujo   (i swear i’ll try and be creative and make my own layouts aweiofh;oweihf )．☆．。．:*･° i decided to go with the theme of blue since blue is a very calming colour and i felt like i needed that in my new year. a bit early in terms of planning but, it’s better to plan ahead :’)  i still need to work on my calligraphy but, as the bujo says ‘the beginning is the most important part of work’ :’) merry christmas and a happy new year !

( 2. 27. 17. ) // guess who’s back on the bullet journal train! i know it’s been a while since i’ve been really active on this blog, but i took a break from school for ~*~personal reasons~*~ but now that i’m back i’m ready to jump in head-first!

so here’s my calendar for march! i switched to the dot system this month, inspired by @pridebulletjournal although hers is much neater than mine.

Alrighty. I'm new here, and I feel kinda stupid for asking, but what exactly is a bullet journal? The pictures you post look really nice and organized, but I can't tell what the rules are for constructing one

Hello, welcome to the community! And it’s not a stupid question at all!

A bullet journal is a planning system which is based around the concept of creating daily lists of things to do. That’s literally the only rule. 

You can make it as creative as you like or as plain as you like. I like to also keep track of things like my water intake, exercise and brushing my teeth but that’s a personal choice. I find it particularly calming to plan my week ahead and to know everything I need to get done as it means I can relax and focus more easily.

You’ll often see bullet journal written as bujo which is just a shorthand and you can search the tag for inspiration or ideas if you are curious.
