Introductions
Hello strangers of the internet
My name is Sara and I have traveled around the sun nineteen times. I am halfway through my second year studying Physics in college.

Some interesting anecdotes about me...
- I’m not inherently good at mathematics. In high school I believed for a long time that because math didn’t come naturally to me I just wasn’t cut out for it. I am now discovering that, like anything, hard work and dedication can change a lot.
- One of the biggest reasons I chose Physics was because of the unique way that it encompasses creativity in a particularly unique way. It doesn’t seem like a creative subject, but unlike other hard sciences, it requires little blunt force memorization and an abundance of problem solving and critical thinking.
- I have a bad habit of drinking too many energy drinks. Oops.
- I hope to one day work in experimental material science and use my background in Physics to fundamentally understand materials that have potential to benefit society.
- I originally wanted to study astrophysics. When I was younger I frequented astronomical society meetings and devoured books on black holes. Once I got to college and began getting into the meat and potatoes of Physics I realized that I would succeed better in a field of Physics that involves more hands on, practical work. I stand by my belief that Astronomy is the gateway drug into Physics.

I would really like to get to know more individuals in the studyblr community that share my passion for learning. I strive to improve myself and the world around me and admire others who feel the same way.
