Say goodbye to gay marriage - it was nice while it lasted. Oh, and don't kid yourself - there's no chance in hell he's keeping his promise to veto a national abortion ban. Even if he does, though, the Supreme Court will make it law for him.

Speaking of kidding yourselves, don't even try the "it's only four years" shit. The Supreme Court already took care of that - he's got total immunity for anything he does that's related to the "core powers of the office". I'm sure that he and his buddies can think of a way to ensure that, even if he can't stay President, we never see another Democratic POTUS.

Oh, and by the way: HE'S WORSE ON ISRAEL, YOU FUCKING MORONS. With Harris there was at least a chance to talk her out of supporting the genocide - with Trump, Gaza will be lucky not to be nuked. Say goodbye to Ukraine, too, since everyone knows Trump is in bed with Putin. Hell, Putin's probably already preparing a "justification" for continuing to march the Russian army westward.

I'd say that I hope the lower grocery prices was worth it, but he won't even do that - his tariffs will drive prices of everything through the fucking roof (on top of the greedy corporations who - spoiler alert - were the ones driving the recession in the first place, trying to recoup lost profits from COVID).

All of you. You all decided it was OK to gamble with other people's lives. Even if the gamble had worked out, you'd still have been horrible people for risking it - but it didn't work out, did it?

You’re all getting Albedo rambles today because

I’m just so proud of him.

Albedo went from a closed off, cold, lonely person when we first met him, to this bright source of warmth he is now.

He even admits in one of his events that Dragonspine is a cold, lonely place. He put himself there because I believe he was still grieving his master leaving him, and because he felt like he was a monster. But I truly think his mindset is changing after that event with everyone.

I really saw him open up to not just us, but everyone else too. And I think we all saw just how kind hearted he really was. I wish there was an option to tell him how monsters can’t be as kind as him. Yes, he isn’t human (and he obviously has some sort of complex about it because of the things he says) but my boy is no monster, and I think at the end of the event, he perhaps realised that.

I truly believe that was Albedo at the end, by the way. Why do you think the traveler, or us, was so chill with what he did? We can tell when it’s not Albedo, even when his back was turned from us in the beginning - so we could definitely tell when he’s right in front of us. He’s playing a prank on us and being playful because now he’s so comfortable with us. He’s ‘coming out of his shell’, if you will. And what he said was really telling, about his pockets being full. He’s satisfied with life, and has no need to ask why anymore. He’s happy. And I don’t think he killed his imposter - I think he’s either still living on the mountain, which is why maybe Albedo hasn’t removed himself from it - or he went with that kid as his dad and just decided to live a normal life. I just really think with how Albedo could emphasise with his situation, he wouldn’t kill him after that. He even said he’d do the same if the roles were reversed !!

Moving on from his event - how about we talk about how much he changed when we last saw him?

Was it just me, or did Albedo seem a lot more willing to be social? He even helped Kazuha with his family crisis, when he wasn’t exactly needed. He could’ve just carried on trying to find inspiration, but I think he helped out with everything because he genuinely cares. He’s so sweet, no one ever realises how selfless he really is if someone needs him. I don’t even think he noticed that he was like this until everything went down.

I think when he cooked for people, and realised how much he actually liked other people’s company, something must’ve snapped (but in a good way). Because since then, I’ve been seeing him smile more and more in official art when before it was extremely rare to see one on him. I think even his little emoji’s only had like one or two. Sure, he had his smug little bastard smirk, but an actual smile? It wasn’t something we often saw.

Now I see it all the time and it makes me so happy. He’s really grown as a character, and he’s still continuing to grow, but I think his smile is the evidence I need to know it’s going in the right direction. I also think Klee might bring out the best in him too, there’s probably a big brother Albedo we haven’t quite seen yet and maybe it’ll happen in the upcoming event. (That’s not a spoiler, he seems to have one every winter which is what I’m talking about).

I don’t think his character journey has ended, for from it, and I’m really looking forward to seeing him again in an event (even though people have dubbed him the event archon lmfao) I want to see him smile more and be happy. Maybe come off that damn mountain so he can be truly happy with everyone, but maybe he’s not ready for that just quite yet. He’s no extrovert, so maybe in some way he loves the mountain for that - but I can see he would really like someone there with him sometimes. I hope he doesn’t punish himself with no company because he feels like he deserves it - please see how much people care for you baby ):

Btw side not but kazubedo has great potential and I will not shut up about it, soft boys in love. They’re both the chillest characters in the game, they would be perfect for each other. Albedo obviously loves exploring, so ofc he wouldn’t mind if his rogue prince dragged him around everywhere. Ugh I’d talk about it more but I don’t think anyone likes hearing about ships much

If you read through this all, well thank you but are you okay after that much incoherent rambling? It probably didn’t make sense, I just wanted to go on about how I’m proud of my boy for coming so far.

i think one of the characters I play on a day-to-day basis has just been… well, ruined for me.

i think it will remain that way until they get recasted.

no, I’m not mentioning the name because even that makes me feel sick right now.

if you’re keeping up with the situation, then you know exactly how sickening it is. it hits hard when you’ve been a victim of this kind of stuff too.

another thing I don’t like about fandom consumption is

i write like 2k words for one character, and it doesn’t get half as many notes as someone who writes TWO SENTENCES about something extremely generic with five hundred characters tagged. It’s irritating to see people put in half the effort and get 2000+ notes while people are working their asses off to try and make quality content.

that content to me just fills up the tags and it’s not content I want to consume. i don’t hate writers that do this, but this trend in itself is just;;; I’m not a fan. At all.

Signora had a lot of background lore going for her and the death was just so sudden that it wasn’t fulfilling enough for the story in my opinion. Mhy could’ve done so much more with her and let us uncover a bit more of her backstory with the main story but apparently not- Justice for all our villainous angels and Teppei

Now back to our regular rambling because hooooo man I have a lot to say about Signora’s death and Inazuma’s writing as a whole.

Her death was entirely for shock value. There was no real reason for her to die, at all. And it felt like after she died, it was just swept up under the rug and it wasn’t brought it up again after the arc ended. And that’s what annoyed me the most.

There is no consequence for what happened in the Inazuma arc. Raiden wasn’t given any repercussions, in fact she was given a date with us for her story quest. What? What? No. No there was just nothing, we treated Raiden like nothing happened and we were all friendly when her country was falling apart because of a vision hunt decree she issued. And you can argue that the fatui had a part in it, but Ei has been proven to not be stupid, she at least had some idea of what was going on. She might have an innocent disposition, but at the end of the day, she is an archon and a god and if she fell for the fatui’s tricks then I’m sorry but it just proves she’s not a very good character to begin with. What was it with Inazuma women being written to be smart but then proving to be the exact opposite?

Because Kokomi did the same thing. She was supposed to be this master strategist but she didn’t question her soldiers buying random weapons from an unknown source? The writing was such a mess. It felt like two different teams were working on it, had different ideas, but they rushed it and meshed it all together, and most of it just does not work. I don’t like Raiden as a written character and it’s the same with Kokomi. With the next patch that might change but I’m not that hopeful. Both of them were extremely promising characters but ultimately was let down by poor writing, and it’s disappointing. Inazuma wasn’t all bad, I thought the act when we face Raiden for the first time was,,, really really good. And Kazuha, Beidou, Gorou and Kokomi’s appearance was a really good moment. But after that, it falls apart and the only good memorable moment for me was Kazuha’s friends vision lighting up again.

By the way, if you disagree with me, that’s completely fine this is just my opinion, so don’t worry if you have opposing opinions !! But for me, the last act of Inazuma, Kokomi and Raiden were all extremely disappointing and I think it was all rushed and it showed. They just didn’t know what to do,,,

But it’s so confusing because Albedo’s limited time event was probably some of the best writing in the game so far? Maybe not the best, but for Genshin it was up there. I’m glad that event happened because I was suffering from burn out bad with Inazuma,,, and Rubedo was an interesting character and I think both he n Bedo fed the simps well hehe >:)

And as for Scara,,, I just hope they treat him better than Signora. Such a compelling character, I don’t want MHY to just,,, waste that, you know?
