So we decided to sell our trailer and focus on the F150 for our overlanding needs. Why, you may ask… well that is an easy answer, the trailer is GREAT for space, however it is such a challenge turning around on really tight trails where there is a big drop on one side and a bank on the other!

So Truck it is, now we can explore all these little trails and find cool remote areas to camp in!

Typical Morning Scene at Basecamp Roaddude . Cool view showing the awesome coverage of the @bundutecusa #Bunduawn 360, which covers *both* ends of my trailer equally and sticks out almost 8’ in each direction. I have triangle extensions that attach to the HD hook and loop to square off each end if I want. Great to have for sun or rain, I then have about 16’ across on each end by 24’ long on the galley side. . I’m working on a design for an add-on ground annex to attach to my @Roofnest Eagle on the other side so I have covered access and a changing room that covers the ladder area. . I LOVE my setup. It is SO extremely versatile and adaptable to any situation I’ve had.. . There are a ton of ways to set it up. . I can use just the Roofnest #rtt if a quick stopover; just the awning for shade on a hot or rainy day to grab a quick lunch somewhere; awning with extensions (I have side screens and solid side panels too) for longer basecamp stays or storm situations; just the galley table setup for preparing meals; or set it all up. . I’ve got it down to where I can set up the entire arrangement above, eating and cooking area with running water and all, in less than half an hour. WithOUT busting my butt to do it. . That’s pretty damned awesome for the way I like to camp and travel. .
