looking through my art folders and I found this old group picture of the characters I used on a giant OC question meme thing way back when. I still think it holds up pretty well and it’s fun to see them all together. 83

this is a more serious question but can you tell more about bunny? im always so curious about them >.>;;

hh I really need to write a wiki entry for those 3…. Well! They started out as a dream, which is why some parts of their stuff is kinda.. uh.. haphazard.. but basically there is Rigel, and then there are two other “personalities” (I’m not sure if I should call them that, because they do not share memories so they’re basically new people) called Hat and Bunny, who appear only when Rigel is wearing a top hat with a ribbon or a wooden bunny mask, respectively.

They all live in this little.. I guess pocket dimension?.. which looks like a warehouse/big attic full of junk and covered in black dust, which they call The Attic. Rigel is essentially a child; he doesn’t know much, he’s naiive and kinda dumb and harmless but easily spooked. Hat is the introvert; he’s very cold and suspicious, likes to read and be alone. Bunny is the extrovert, he’s the only one who yearns to go out and mess with other people and he’s.. well.. he’s also a murdering psychopath >_>;;

You asked specifically about Bunny so uhhh let’s see. He’s got a lovely, bubbly kind voice that’s easy to trust, but he’ll drop it down to a harsh growl and do what I call his “batman voice” when he wants to be intimidating. His area of the Attic is the cleanest and he has an actual proper kitchen and small bed, instead of like.. some kind of blanket fort out in the junk like the other two. He loves to cook and to bake and is the one who takes care of most of their physical needs like “shopping” (stealing) for food, cooking, etc. Hat and Bunny both genuinely care about Rigel but hate each other’s guts, and Bunny occasionally pranks or messes with Hat’s stuff because that’s just the kinda restless jerk he is.

There’s more to say but this is already so loooong so I’ll stop here before this gets crazy I think *sweats*

I find D&D’s alignment system to be awkward to apply to anything that isn’t specifically a high fantasy tabletop character, but here have some charACTERS ANYWAY

What if BHR wore the mask AND the hat at the same time?

Oof, that sounds like… such bad news tbh, god. None of Hat, Bunny, nor Rigel would ever put on both at the same time willingly, I think the idea wouldn’t even occur to them as like, a thing you could do.

Assuming somebody like, tied them up and managed to somehow cram that hat around the bunny ears though, the result would probably be a babbling mess of unstable confusion. They aren’t three personalities in a brain, there is definitely a slight supernatural aspect to the division, so if you mashed them together things would probably get weeeeiiird.

I like drawing Bunny with his mask half up but realistically he’d only do it for a moment to sneeze or eat soup or something because... yeah. (Also because Bunny’s actual face doesn’t hide his emotions at all and he is aware of that.)
