She laughed inwardly at his jestful comment, bright blue eyes now half lidded in a more casual manner, her fair lips spread into a faint smile. She laughed because he was not wrong, she did so because he seemed to absolutely understand her, even with their playful chatter.
“You know I will.” She said, lifting a more common rapier that had been resting by her side, its long blade right in front of her face, resting in the middle as if her own way of showing she, too, was ready for the sparring match. And after a few seconds of shared understanding, she’d slash the air and dash over to his side for the first hit against blades.
“I’m impressed to not have heard any protests from your aunt about all this.” she mentioned, casually chatting as their weapons clashed against one another.
