January 29th
Ah so many things running through my mind!! But first things first! LAST NIGHT'S AFI SHOW WAS AMAZING.
I drove up to Towson first. I had lunch with my sister and waited for her while she went to class. Luckily, her class was canceled and we were able to leave early and make our way to Baltimore Soundstage earlier!!! It was freezing outside, but I think she and I were relatively more bundled up than most other people. We waited in line for about two hours and a half. We even made some friends while waiting! The two really cute guys named Brian and Tobias aka Toby and a cool girl named Adriana :) We ended up talking about other concerts we've gone to and other AFI shows we've been to. They even had like... I guess face painted I don't know, "AFI" on their faces. It looked awesome, and I wish I had thought of it myself! We heard the band doing their Sound Check THROUGH the walls of the building, just making me more excited about how loud it would be in there. After waiting in the freezing cold for two hours and a half, the doors opened at 6:30pm and we went in! The opening bands were fun but i just couldn't wait for AFI. I also kinda fell in love with 'Coming's' Drummer jiji ;) ah, then AFI came on and my heart stopped. I almost cried. Last time I saw them was October 28th, 2006 :) I was 16. It was such an amazing night. Only wish I could have stayed after to meet them!!!! Can't wait to have the chance to see them again :)
