He always introduces himself as “(Y/N)’s boyfriend, André,” even when meeting people in the NHL world when he should be introducing himself as “André Burakovsky, and this is my girlfriend, (Y/N).”
When snuggling, he likes to be held as much as he likes to hold you.
He has a lot of Swedish nicknames for you.
He says “I love you” in Swedish a lot.
The first time he said it, you didn’t know what it meant (he whispered it to you as you were falling asleep), so you looked it up the next morning and said it back to him.
Since then, it was kinda your thing to say “I love you” in Swedish.
He buys you a lot of flowers and chocolate.
He always has flowers in his hands when he comes home from road trips.
He doesn’t handle losing well, so you have to cuddle him after a brutal loss (not that you’re complaining).
Dating André also means daring Tom, so you’re constantly having to deal with those two getting into trouble together.
André is a romantic at heart. It doesn’t always translate or go as planned, but he tries.
Tom sometimes has to help him with relationship advice.
(And you can always tell when something was Tom’s idea…Not that you tell André that)
When you’re mad at him, you call him “André Burakovsky” instead of the usual “André” or “Burkie” and he knows he fucked up.
He’s usually the first to apologize if the two of you get in a fight.
He just doesn’t want to be angry with you or have you be angry at him.
You go to all of his home games, always in your Burakovsky jersey.
(Tom and Ovi always asked if they needed to buy you one of their jerseys every time they saw you)
He takes you out to a lot of really nice restaurants for your birthday and anniversary.
He posts about you all the time on Instagram with really cheesy, romantic captions.
It’s just a beautiful, soft, wholesome relationship.
