Oh god it’s always when I reblog this meme that I suddenly forget all the popular opinions on everything in the world and which of those popular opinions I oppose or disagree with on some level.

Okay so we’re gonna go with the first one on my mind.

I have always been super weirded out by the High School teacher/student trope. I mean like, there are more years of schooling to become a teacher than you’d think, from what I’ve looked up. And like, it’s just, it’s weird?

I mean I won’t shame people who like it. Because the general questionable age gap thing with some ships is something I do occasionally so I can’t say shit, but it’s always a guarantee that the younger is definitely of age in those ones for me. and I recognize that it’s still just as weird but still.

For some reason the idea of it being a high school teacher with one of their students is weirder? I’m not sure where my mind’s logic is with that.

Like if I’m gonna do a teacher/student thing ever, it’s always going to have to be college student/professor deal. That’s just slightly less questionable.

He was dozing when the Claire attacked. He immediately squeaked. He was wide awake and squirming a bit before grabbing her wrists and pushing back a bit to keep her from doing that. He was not going to start laughing. Nope. He refused to give off the impression that there’s any part of him that liked it on any level.
