After completing the Hunters Three quest, it’s possible to head back to Daytower and find the fledgling werak making good on their promise to learn how to correctly harvest machine parts.
Aloy, glad to finally be out of her tundra garb and in something more breathable, runs down to greet them.
Their instructor is Burgrend’s friend Ohtur, a man of few no words and complicated gloves.
Everybody’s thrilled to see everybody again. Aloy shows off typical Carja apparel to Tulemak.
Aloy: Yeah, there are bellybuttons all over the Sundom.
Tulemak: The last bellybutton I saw had frostbite.
Tatai and Aloy agree it’s weird to have snow and deserty canyons in the same area, but at least it’s a change from just snow.
Aloy: So you’re learning how to strip a machine? Great, Urkai, let’s see how you’re --
-- doing.
It’s okay. Everyone has to start somewhere. And the Sunshine Snowshoes are determined to be the greatest werak the Sundom’s ever seen.
