The older woman’s eyes widen as she turns to face the other, her orange hair falling in front of her face for a moment. She, with a shaking hand, moves it out of the way of her eyes and adjusts her purple glasses.

She falters for a moment, and grips at her wrist.
“ I can only hope that Michael’s doing okay. I can only imagine how badly it must hurt to be without a sister and a mother. I know that Thomas is… okay, at least. He called me yesterday.”
