Having handled the full wrapping of this bus and updating its interior and upholstery we were given the task of turning it into a “mobile BBQ joint”. To do this we brought in our metalworker to help craft a bespoke BBQ station out of stainless steel. This area allowed for installation of a high end BBQ at the back of the bus on the top deck. We then added checker-plate to the floor and created a windbreak at the very rear of the bus to create a BBQ area that was resistant to wind and allowed passersby to see the chef in action at the grille.
The whole project was carried out for MeatLust to turn their double decker bus into a mobile BBQ restaurant ready for their Bare Bones XXL Tour event in 2017. You can see the bus in action on the Bare Bones XXL Tour here

Vehicle wrapping is not the only service we can offer for upgrading your vehicle. We can also help out with updating the interior of your car, van, or in this case bus. MeatLust required an upgrade of their double Decker bus in preparation for a string of events they had lined up. So we used our knowledge and expertise in vehicle upholstery and modification to carry out this upgrade.
First things first we reupholstered all the seating inside the bus, swapping out the garish lime green for a more refined dark grey charcoal colour. These seats we recovered in a vinyl to ensure both the downstairs and upstairs seating would be weather proof and water-resistant, a key requirement for a bus that will be serving passengers food and drinks on the move.
Secondly we repainted the walls and ceilings of the bus in a charcoal grey to match the seating. And changed the lime green handrails to a bright pink that matched the exterior vehicle wrap we had already applied. Some areas of the walls were premiered ready for a popular graffiti artist to add some custom artwork to them.
All of this interior work helped to create areas of the bus that would allow MeatLust (the owners) to load it with passengers and serve them their BBQ food and artisan beers in comfort and style.
The MeatLust bus was commissioned for the Bare Bones XXL Tour where it transported passengers around London landmarks whilst serving them high quality artisan BBQ food and drinks.

The client supplied us with a bespoke design for the bus, after the bus was delivered to our Manchester vehicle wrapping centre from it’s home in London, we measured it up and edited the supplied artwork to accommodate for the buses exact sizes and the placement of obstructions like air vents and window rubbers.

We wrapped the body of the double decker parade bus using 3M vehicle wrapping vinyl, converting it from a boring white painted surface into a loud and proud bright pink bus with graffiti style text and logos everywhere. Perfect for advertising the Meat Lust Bare Bones XXL Tour, a culinary tour of Londons best BBQ and meat restaurants.

In addition to vehicle wrapping the body of the bus we also added contra vision printed vinyls the the side windows, extending the design into those areas and making it even more imposing and impressive.

To finish off the initial bus wrap we also added vinyl text and logos to the front facing and upper windows, completing the look and also giving the bus an personalised “old-skool” style number/destination sign about the drivers window.
