I rarely husbandpost (despite him being my #1 man), but.. Maaan..
#i was getting all emotional thinking about how they never would have met if they werent in the right place at the right time#they met in a bookstore. ash was trying to reach for something but she's short. “hey excuse me do you need help with that?” “yes please!”#she turns around and. wow. there she is. the prettiest girl he's ever seen.#the cover of the book looks like something W.alker and E.rika read so he acts Ash if she'd like to meet his friends.#Ash is really lonely so ofc she says yes! and then she becomes part of the friend group and they start crushing on each other hard#ash rambles 💚#usually he stays in the van while his friends go to their nerdy stores but... something was different that day.#he just felt like it. couldn't explain it. he just.. knew he had to go that store today.#i think he thinks about that sometimes. if he never walked into that bookstore. if he never walked by that shelf.#if he never offered to help that struggling woman. if she was never there never reaching for that book... he never would have met his wife.#he would've maybe gone his whole life never knowing her. he didn't believe in soulmates till he met her.#something just clicked. something he didn't think was possible.#and i think about that a lot#kissing in the van 💍#my lack of husbandposting comes out of both insecurity and idk what to say ajdjajs#he's my number 1 guy so all my usual insecurities are just cranked up ajdjwjs#we've been together for a while so there's always some voice in my head telling me he'll get sick of me and tired#this insert is pretty much just me ajdjajs the biggest nerd ever and i can see how that's. a lot sometimes#but also since he's just a normal guy.. idk what to say!! he's just. a regular guy.#working a regular construction job. him and ash are married. they have a dog and a daughter. the end.#but ahem yeah#first ashdota meeting <333
