"tsu-chan...” she’s used to her friend’s candor, for the most part. she knows tsuyu always speaks her mind it’s a trait ochaco appreciates and values. but when that honesty uncovers vulnerability, it catches her off guard. not the fact that tsuyu has such feelings, but that she misses HER of all people. “ i’m sorry.” while her tone is certainly apologetic, there’s a smile on her lips. she doesn’t want to see her friend looking so sad anymore she should give her a reason to smile instead.
“i’ve been training pretty hard lately.” with their lives constantly on the line, they haven’t had much time to be actual teenagers and act accordingly. “but i miss spending time with you, too.” ochaco scoots closer to her, almost a little sheepishly. “you wanna come over to my dorm? i have snacks!” she adds excitedly, sounding more like her usual bubbly self. “maybe we can watch a movie or something.”
