Also not all Robins have been human boys, to my count there have been 3 girls who have been Robin... Admittedly, only one of which was actually canon and her tenure as Robin was like six months and ended in a really bad and gross story

on one hand im glad to know that girls can be robin, on the other it sounds like they weren't handled very well... Hopefully there will be a well done lady/girl robin in the future
