Monarch: Legacy of Monsters - 1x04
the way i HEALED when mike ran and hugged dustin
my predictions for wicked for good:
the whole sequence of glinda arriving to kiamo ko - for good - the melting will be like 30 minutes or longer
they'll repeat the little gelphie wave as they say goodbye during for good
either elphaba will wipe glinda's tears during for good or glinda will wipe elphaba's as a callback to their moment at the ozdust
gelphie sloppy makeout 10 minute scene
gelphie hand kiss as prophesied by cynthiana at the oscars
you look positively emerald makes it into this film
poppy field scene will be elphaba's flashback to parallel glinda Also having a flashback of that at the beginning of pt1. and my guess is that it's during her new song or around that scene.
glinda's new song features her taking off her crown and the little ruffles of her dress sleeves and decidedly Not using the bubble
shenshen and pfannee redemption arc as they "cover" for glinda when she goes to warn elphaba. or they just help glinda in some way
glinda is the character riding the horse toward kiamo ko in the middle of the night (obvious) and elphaba is the one riding the horse at the beginning of pt1 (not so obvious i think.. this could be glinda again)
there is somehow a callback to elphaba and glinda choosing the color of the yellow brick road together
morrible tells glinda at one point she'll never be able to do magic
wicked witch of the east scene is Long as hell. lots of lyrics changes to accommodate the fact nessa doesn't really long to walk (obvious)
we'll see dulcibear around that time and find out she's lost her speech
dorothy having toto on a leash makes elphaba angry
(this is used to be my most delusional one but after seeing the tracklist. i don't think it is anymore.) gelphie sings together in wonderful
for good motif plays during thank goodness before or after or during glinda's mental breakdown verse
for good motif plays during the swing scene
for good motif plays during i'm not that girl reprise but we're not supposed to think that's gay
for good motif plays during whatever version of the catfight they have because why not
i don't think glinda will be the cause of nessa's death in this one.. but i can't tell you how i know that
not a prediction but i REALLY want glinda to take off her engagement ring during i'm not that girl reprise because it's one of my favorite acting choices on the stage
no good deed is an epic crashout and elphaba's magic goes haywire and she destroys a bunch of shit
glinda going up the attic is where she'll sing the finale and give her final speech to the ozians. maybe through the same speaker system morrible used to call elphaba a wicked witch for the first time
elphaba will respond to the for good reprise from somewhere in the desert. firmly on solid ground while glinda is high above. for the symbolism. the role reversal. etc.
we'll get back to glinda in munchkinland in present time, post nomtw, and she'll be the closing shot of the film.
realistically if we get a Elphaba Tells Glinda She's Alive scene it will be very ambiguous and will happen after the credits. i've seen some people say glinda's window will break again and i can see that happening. either way it will have the for good music in the background.
unrealistically and this is another one of my most delusional ones. elphaba will tell her the truth in a way that can't be interpreted as anything else, and she will say she knows glinda can keep a secret. referencing of course galinda's "i can keep a secret" line from pt1
someday i'll write my ocd jud duplenticy fic. when i have an idea beyond "so jud for sure has ocd right"
As much as I like Bones and would love to think of it as mostly a forensic anthropology show... sometimes it is SO CLEAR that it's copaganda 😭 Like why does asking for a lawyer make someone suspicious? That's literally their right. Why does casually smoking weed or having smoked weed in the past make someone suspicious? "Oh he was caught with 4 ounces of weed in the 1980s he must be a drug dealer" HUH???? I understand that people were a lot more serious about weed in the 2000s but guys. Are we being for real
Nothing will make me feel more torn than a victim of bullying managing to expose the bully through "underhanded" means in front of the whole school. It's like. Yes, the victim did strategise and play their cards so that the bully would be caught in the act of bullying them. But I don't understand how it's seen as manipulative or conniving when the bully shouldn't have been doing anything that someone could manipulate into being "caught" by witnesses????
I'm still staggering around the house all dysfunctional and music-horny because of just intonation. JUST INTONATION. Where have you been all my life, my beloved? Why does this feel so rightttttttt I'm panicking with adoration
first they jumpscared me with a floofy-haired white boy who turned out to be rand in disguise and not gawyn, and THEN they showed galad without gawyn. mean and evil!!!!
