crying for thirty seconds in Danganronpa help you got through every trauma I guess
Despite being a huge killer game, Danganronpa (or at least the first, I've just played it, or at least most of it) sure does avoid how people react to death.
The kids cry for like five minutes and then everything's fine.
Take Hina for example, she is "the most normal" in her reactions, she cries basically everytimes and doesn't act drastically different between people.
But in no time she is rise and shine, ready to solve the misery with a smile.
"oh but she is the positive one! She want to be strong and keep everyone from total despair" Ok but all the characters do that? Even Chihiro that is easy to upset in like five minutes is ready to investigate!
Like man what kind of highschooler have you seen lately?
Even if they just did it to appear strong there would be some problems because not all of them has that emotional strength.
I mean we have one person that actually has a strong reaction... And it's Taka.
His reaction is so stronger that he basically change his hair colour and become a fusion between himself and Mondo because he miss him so much that he want Mondo to be with him again like forever.

that was sure a strong reaction for someone you've known for like a week.
But besides Taka all other times they are just
"OH NO THEY HAVE BEEN KILLED"
"Ok well let's find out who did it and then we can take a bath and eat some donuts"
and makoto is the absolute worst when we talk about this. But that's another story
