he’s been out of his apartment since the ripe time of seven in the morning . it started with an hour long therapy session at seven thirty , his first class at nine , another at eleven and the third one at twelve and after finally on his break for lunch . he heads to the same restaurant he always goes to , and he’s usually accompanied by his twin brother or his other brother , but neither of them could make it so he’s sat towards the back with his leg pressed against his chest , looking at his laptop as he tilts his head to the side and hums quietly .

prison has prepared scott for a LOT of things upon his arrival back into the real world on good behavior. but this wasn’t one of them, not even close. there he stood, almost dumbfounded as he approaches them. “well, you are NOT who i expected to see past those gates.” he says, though he’s not disappointed. surprised more like it.

groans and rolls her eyes at the other’s angry words, nervous eyes flitting between them and the group that they came here with. always so fixated on image and reputation, she hisses, “ do we really have to do this now ?? right here with all your friends around ?? ”

ian had never been the greatest whenever it came to talking to people; especially when it came to talking to girls. his sisters would forever tease him for the fact, but they just made him NERVOUS. and it probably had a lot to do with the fact that he could see how mean some could be by watching his siblings string them along and play guys like it was nothing. but there was this one girl who seemed to have the same lunch routine as he did because like clockwork, they both ended up having their lunch at the same place and time every day. and his sisters had caught wind of their baby brother’s crush, and now it had become this big thing and if he didn’t at least TRY to talk to her, he would never live it down. so, today would be the day ian finally approached the girl. “ uh, hi there. “ the words come out of his mouth a bit of a stuttered mess. “ i hope i’m not bothering you, you can stop me when you want if i am, “ he rambled on. there was no turning back now. “ but i kind of noticed that you come here every day, by yourself and eat your lunch and i do the same and i was just thinking maybe you’d like to . . . hang out while we ate? “ his voice is full of uncertainty as he spoke but at least the question was out.

“ i don’t ----- kezrah marissa ! why are we playing hide and seek ? ” riley stands on his tiptoes as he pads into the bedroom where he’s sure his wife is at , but his brows quirk together when he notices the room empty . the house was oddly silent , and though he knows he can use his senses to find her , this is more fun . he tilts his head to the side , “ ------------ luuuuuna ? where’s my pretty princess ? ” he calls out , an eyebrow raising when he hears a giggle . he heads over , a soft hum escaping him as he opens the door to the child’s bedroom .
