Everyone talks about fiction becoming truth, but outside of Donald Trump’s bid for president, this is the perfect example of it.

Do you remember that Twilight Zone episode where a couple are presented with a box containing a button - the deal is easy: press the button and get a reward….oh-and-by-the-way someone dies.

Well someone has gone to the trouble of producing that very box…not so elaborate of course and not available to the general public (unless you bid on the international arms market in your spare time), but nevertheless just as effective.

By all accounts it is very good at what it does and has the side effect of rendering billions of dollars of military hardware into e-waste (think the Apple upgrade cycle) … and is as expensive to build as a Raspberry Pi.

Isn’t technology grand….every home should have one.
