This past weekend was one of the most fun, chaotic, crazy, exhausting weekends I have done in awhile! It was absolutely amazing! Literally 3 hrs before we left for this adventure I sprained my ankle horribly, but decided I wasn’t going to back out of this adventure! We drove through the night to Knoxville to be a part of the #CotopaxiQuestival! It’s a 24 hr long scavenger hunt. Complete as many things as you can in that time span and upload a photo or video! We pushed ourselves to exhaustion, but we accomplished and saw so much. Despite the set back of my ankle, we still came out in 1st place out of 82 teams!!! Honestly it was crazy by filled with laughter and good friends! Today we hiked the Lost Palms Oasis trail at Joshua Tree National Park. Even as experienced hikers, we had a tough time on our first desert hike. I cropped out the distance in my Garmin photo so you can see it was 106 degrees out during the hike. We ended up running out of water 4 miles into our hike.. And also found ourselves lost a few times after wandering off the trails.
