The Agana

(This is a Pathfinder race made for butwhywouldyoudothat.)

The agana are a race that diverged from the catfolk race ages ago, adapting to more direct confrontation and pursuit than stealth. However, an ancient confrontation with a coven of arcane scholars led to the agana being cursed to an eternity of servitude to the arcane.

Indebted to wizards, sorcerers, and witches, the agana's lion-like traits make them perfect guards for sects of mages. Over the centuries, most arcanists to whom the agana dedicate themselves have permitted these servants to learn some of their occult secrets.

Racial Traits

+2 STR, +2 INT, -2 WIS. Agana are strong and smart, but lack the common sense necessary to choose their battles.

Medium Humanoid. Agana are medium-sized humanoids with the catfolk subtype.

Normal Speed: Agana have a base land speed of 30 feet.

Bodyguard: Agana can make two additional attacks of opportunity each round when adjacent to an ally that can cast arcane spells.

Arcane Experience: Agana have a +2 racial bonus to Spellcraft and Knowledge (Arcana) checks, and Knowledge (Arcana) is always a class skill for them.

Mighty Jaws: Agana have a natural bite attack that deals 1d6 damage plus their full strength modifier.

Plains Warrior: Agana have a +2 racial bonus to AC when in savannah or plains.
