1. Who’s your favorite fictional character?
Calvin, of Calvin and Hobbes. He was a very major influence on my general view of the world.
2. Can you ride a bike and/or swim?
I can wobble on a bike if you get me on one, but turning and stopping is trouble, and I get very nervous. Last I checked I was a great swimmer, but I’ve not been in the water for a while.
3. Would you rather be able to breathe underwater (and adapt completely to water pressure changes) or fly (and not be bothered by low oxygen levels)?
Aw, jeez, they both sound amazing. I guess I’d have to go with flying, since it has something of a more practical use.
4. What’s your greatest fear?
Of not succeeding, I guess. I’m not intensely phobic about anything at all, but the thought of failure, of turning out to be a washed-up loser like a few adults I know, is something I worry about a lot.
5. Have you ever read a book that you hated?
Nah. If I don’t like a book I just don’t finish it. I don’t stick around long enough to hate it.
6. Are you good at board games?
Depends on the game. I’ll trounce anyone at Settlers of Catan (unless I’m playing against my mom…) but I’m no good at, say, Scrabble.
7. Are you afraid of flying?
Not so much that I can’t handle it or anything, but I do get nervous whenever there’s turbulence. I mean, you just never know…
8. Given the chance, would you go into space?
You bet your ass I would! I’d LIVE in space if I could! Space is so cool! And I want to experience zero-g!
9. Who would you choose to play Wonder Woman in her movie?
Gina Torres is the best choice I can think of for the present. Lucy Lawless in her prime would’ve been even better, but I think she’s a little too old now.
10. Can you change a tire?
No, alas. I should learn though. It’s a good skill to have.
