After weeks, months of wishing for rain. You can imagine the excitement printed on Heather’s face when clouds started to form above the Sanctuary.
The girl made her rounds at the plantations using her affinity to keep the plants alive long enough to receive the water from the heavens. However this happiness was very short lived. She soon found out that what was coming wasn’t a light rain shower but a storm. The clouds grew darker, looked heavier and made the atmosphere very gloomy.
Then, the winds came. Strong winds blew and break apart weak structures that the sanctuary members build. Since then, the wicked told herself that every time a severe gale she will not leave the shelter that she was currently in or she would quickly seek shelter nearby.
This time when the storm came it was close to sundown and the wicked was in the greenhouse. Hesitant to leave the place as she knew that she would not be able to make it home before the nightfall and that the greenhouse was the safest place to be.
She found standing in the middle of the greenhouse she mumbled to herself, “Wishing for rain was a mistake.”
