the event was filled with everything serena desired. pockets to pick and an easy coat check. she told herself that she would behave for her friend - however, she couldn't always resist temptation. moving towards Seif in the crowd she casually pulls a few dollar bills out of a leather wallet. a smile forms on her lips as she catches eye with her date soon placing the wallet on a random table without breaking her glare.
"I see you found the food." She notes as she rests her elbow on the high table. Her chin rests on her hand as her eyes look back into the crowd then back on Seif. "This place is a complete bore. Half the people don't even have a mask that hides their face." Fingers grab at a crab stick before greeting her mouth with little grace. Adjusting her black colored cat mask her head tilts among the door - Did she just see the supernatural mayor?
"Bingo" She mouths. "I wonder how much that guy has laying in his coat." Her brows wiggle at Seif only to soon fall. "Maybe not tonight." Her plans had changed - no sleuthing for the time being. Adjusting her posture to seem attentive she continues to pick at the food tray at the middle of the table.
