Winter is the time when nature really likes to show off its painting skills. When everything is white and on the rather monotonic side, nature likes to use these white sheets to draw patterns, curves and strange shapes. Nature does often forget that the sky is still colorful and sometimes it too shows strange patterns and formations. I noticed these patterns when skiing earlier in December.
