Recently I got this product for a review- Botanics Simply Calm Hydrating Overnight Mask with Cannabis Sativa Oil for Stressed Skin. First I was so eager to try it because it has Cannabis Sativa Oil in it. Hemp oil products I have had wonderful results with and was thrilled to find Cannabis Oil is now in some beauty products. However I wanted something that was cruelty free. Not only does Botanics meet this requirement but it is also sustainable, 100% Vegan it also does not contain Phthalates, Parabens, Mineral Oil or SLS. Some of the other natural and botanical ingredients include avocado oil Cocoa butter, Shea butter, Aloe, Sunflower, Jasmine, Rose, Impatient, Honeysuckle and many other botanical ingredients. For myself I was reluctant to try it because of the Shea butter- I have a nut allergy and Shea Butter is an nut. Thankfully I did not have a negative reaction to it but I would be more likely to purchase again if they had an optional product without the Shea butter. It is lightly scented with essential oils of Lavender, Mandarin Orange Peel oil and Rosemary. Normally I have problems with scented products but I had no adverse reactions the light botanical scent. The lavender is the most prominent of all. I find it helps me relax more than normal which helps me get to sleep. You use this overnight mask three nights a week as part of your beauty routine. I have found it really improves the texture of your skin by leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. I have also noticed a difference in a more even coloration to my skin tone. My husband has had the most remarkable results. He had developed seborrhea dermatitis on his face which medical prescriptions failed to resolve. He has terrible scaling, flaking and redness around his eyebrows and forehead. He also had redness on his lower cheek and jawline where it just looked raw and irritated. It was awful for him. We thought we had tried everything including a diet overhaul to no avail. He used this Botanics Hydrating mask product on his face three nights and it is almost gone. We feel another two nights and it will be nothing but a bad memory. Needless to say we now is very eager to try the rest of the product cannabis product line- the serum, the day cream and to continue this night mask. It's a new product to the marketplace and yet our Walgreens within 50 miles of us is completely out of stock- it's flying off the shelves everywhere- It's no wonder why. If you want to try it you might want to purchase it online. It's a fabulous product and as stated earlier we are eager to try the full cannabis beauty line thru Botanics. I would definitely recommend this product.
