Bad Job || closed
I’m not the right person for this job.” @Aith - Kash
@swordsandfire || Kashaadi || cont x
The Tal-Vashoth mage glanced at Aith with a raised eyebrow. That wasn’t exactly what she’d been expecting to hear from a woman so fierce and proud like Aith, to be honest. She’d rather been expecting an immediate yes when she mentioned it.
“Oh nonsense. We’re only being asked to guide a caravan through the plain so we can get it to the nearest settlement.” Guiding- more like protecting. The Orlesian Exalted Plains weren’t exactly a peaceful place: rebels, deserters, demons, even Dalish had been known to attack travellers if they deemed them dangerous. That was exactly why they were being asked to do the job.
“I would appreciate a bit of good company. You know, the other soldiers can be a bit boring… And not nearly as good with a weapon in their hands as a certain woman I know…” Meaning Aith herself, of course.
Aith’s problem wasn’t that she was insecure about her fighting abilities, and she got a little snappy at the very idea that that’s what Kashaadi thought. No way! She was more than fine with taking down a few shitty bandits on the roads. It was something else.
It was the Dalish.
She knew for a fact that there were Dalish clans around the areas, and if she were honest, she didn’t trust herself not to explode and take out the entire area with fire. Yes, it was unfair, yes, it was cruel, but part of the elf didn’t give a shite. Those bastards deserved to die--all of them--for what happened to her.
She pressed her lips together and blew air out in a noise of disapproval. “Not that, you twat, I’m fine with my magic,” she stated with a roll of her eyes on the defensive side--even though her voice had no real malice towards the other woman. She folded her arms, looking away. Kashaadi didn’t know the first real thing about her, and it felt too personal to speak of elves when she was one. She didn’t want the other woman prying.
“I just don’t think my brother would approve... is all...” she muttered, trying to palm it off to Kaaras. Actually, if she went and killed a bunch of Dalish elves on the road, he wouldn’t approve, and he didn’t want to disappoint him.
// Aith is the type of person who uses a plethora of swear words and puts them all together to make insults. And she will say c*nt as well, so please be aware if we ever write together, she’s a bitch, she’s mean, and she will swear.

Aylen approached when she saw Aith wasn't busy, or she supposed she wasn't. She did so warily, keeping her gaze low until she was close enough for her to hear her. "Aith... Can we talk? Please." She asked softly. She wouldn't blame her if she refused: last time their conversation hadn't been that friendly. Though she hoped she wouldn't just walk away...
Being an elf, she could hear the other approaching her. She didn’t know it was Aylen until she heard her voice, though, making her look up from what she was doing. Nothing important, she’d just been waxing her staff. The last fight she got into had caused some splinters to pop out.
She knew what this was probably over. Their last conversation had ended in an explosion of sorts. Aylen had gone off and told Kaaras, and then Kaaras has lectured her over her behaviour, just like their mother would have. She was annoyed that she couldn’t do anything without something backfiring, but she also knew she’d been a bitch to Aylen.
Aith wasn’t blind to her personality faults. She knew she was bitter, mean, jealous and cruel at the best of times. To Aylen, she’d been all, and just because she was Dalish.
She put the bar of wax down and shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly as possible, despite her discomfort at the conversation that was going to happen.
“Yeah, take a seat, I guess.” She motioned her hand to the seat opposite the table she was on. “Not like I can hide forever from you, anyway. You’ve got Kaaras twirled around those nimble fingers of yours and you’re gettin’ in the sack with him.”
@aylenlavellan
Aith, have you ever considered converting to the Qun? I think it would be beneficial to you
“Are you shitting me? I’m a fuckin’ mage, you dumb cunt.”
