then boreas mun is like “and the other guy too” and dijkstra is like “what, WHAT other guy?!” and looks behind himself to see isengrim ALSO popping out of the shadows, like heyy 👋. dijkstra is like what the hell, where did you come from . you were FOLLOWING me?! … just. glossing over that he was. also. following mun .

what about dijsktra?

dijkstra, like fringilla, grew on me after n*tflix because it made me realize how much i love them in the books

"they are so cool looking": dandelion dresses flamboyantly and gets sooo much attention for it. why not the same for dijkstra?... also, like all book characters, i want to see more designs for books dijkstra that aren't the games design (even though i think the games design is fine), @toussaintred made a design for him and i still think about it...

"they work better as part of a dynamic": i mean... him and philippa are funny as hell together... i don't care about shipping them but i want them to have their friendship that teeters close to having each other killed a little too often.

also i think it's funny that dijkstra is essentially like "yes i know what philippa wants" and philippa is like "i don't want that." and dijkstra is like "she doesn't want that." like in the first chapter of baptism of fire when he is dictating a letter to ori and ori is like "yeah i'm going to change the wording of this because it will piss philippa off"

i think they have the dynamics of a lesbian and gay guy but i also think the backstory is that philippa thought dijkstra was a butch lesbian and that's why they have some kind of random dating backstory but dijkstra was like nah i'm a guy. and then they became friends in their uneasy political alliance instead

"they work better as part of a dynamic" + "didn't get enough screen time": by this i mean i want a spinoff series about him, isengrim, and boreas mun. what a triumvirate... i don't want him to come back to the northern kingdoms i want him to fuck off to zerrikania with these guys and for them to get into comedic and dramatic situations, think of if you somehow combined third rock from the sun and breaking bad (i've never seen breaking bad).

"they got done dirty by fans": i just mean that no one ever posts about his book equivalent except for maybe the scene in blood of elves with dandelion... but he has so many good scenes... he has a good balance of comedy and drama which i can appreciate... some of my favorite scenes are him and geralt talking on thanedd and geralt refusing to spy for him, or the absolute horror of the scene in baptism of fire when he finds vilgefortz's hideout (and it's like, even he is shocked and disgusted), or the end of his and philippa's alliance in lady of the lake and the tension spilling from that. also i think people aren't willing enough to admit that he's hot. don't silence me don't take the mic away from me i'm right. it goes back to dressing flamboyantly and being a sarcastic and funny son of a bitch. i don't think people necessarily disrespect him, but there's a bit of a void where there should be more stuff. i think the fandom should be more obsessed with him, he's being done disservice
