be ambitious! // elias + gi
The whole day's been nothing but guitar for him, really. It seems that with the hype for the upcoming heist, everyone's been far too busy to force Elias to do something as mundane as a job.
It's not bad, of course. If he could have his way all the time, this is how his days would go--lazily playing guitar and occasionally laughing at his cellphone. There are many things he's grown to appreciate since his time here, but very little of those things could actually compare to his first love of music.
And, well, now that he's sure he can't be a doctor any more, there's absolutely nothing wrong with pursuing being a musician.
(Even if the only people who'll ever listen to him are gangsters.)
Time passes by slow and easy, and Elias is uninterrupted if only because he isn't being rented today--another perk, he supposes, with the busy atmosphere of the job in Miami. Of course, just because he can relax doesn't mean the soreness in his lower back from the night before is going away easily. But it could be worse.
He could be sitting on a giant spike instead of at the edge of a pool with his feet in the water.
The clock ticks and ticks and he's hardly aware to the passage of time. Elias knows he's going to meet someone--Gi, a poor victim of newbie bullying--but what the hours and minutes are mean very little in comparison to his fingers sliding over guitar frets and strings and the soft hum of lyrics coming from his mouth.
It doesn't even feel like he's waiting.
