"On a scale of 1 to Mabel, how terrible a mom do you think I'll be? Be brutally honest, I don't want to fuck up another Lewis."

It’d been a few weeks since prom, a few weeks since Felix avoided Emerson for a few days after. He wasn’t doing that anymore, but they still hadn’t spent any real time together since. It was all those feelings for her he’d been denying for months that had cropped up at prom and it’d been much harder for him to shake them this time around.
Thankfully, he and Lucky had agreed to meet later so he was hoping to get his mind off everything. His ex’s bullshit she always pulled every time he dropped Pae off at her house, his possible feelings for his best friend… things like that.
“Hey man, always good to see you.”

Being out of work for the time being was admittedly making Liza a little crazy, but instead of focusing on it she just tried to get out of the house- like now. Unfortunately, it seemed like half the damn town had the same idea because once she had her iced latte in hand there was seemingly nowhere to sit. Great. She'd just decided she was going to just head out and walk around aimlessly when she saw a familiar face and she smiled a bit as she headed over, "Hey L." She greeted once in his line of sight, her smile growing as she saw his little girl with him too and she gave her a little wave (albeit with her casted hand, so hopefully it wasn't jarring for the kid). It took a long while to forgive him for just vanishing for ages, but Liza finally felt like she could call him a friend again. "This seat taken? I can put in a good word for you and your daddy at the bakery if you say yes. Get you all the extra cookies and cupcakes and drive him nuts with the sugar rush."

Emerson had time before she needed to get to work, so she decided to get herself a muffin and an iced coffee and have her breakfast in the cafe. With a book under her arm, she tried to find a place to sit- but it seemed like half the town had the same idea of sitting inside, since pretty much every table was taken. Oh well.
She was about to just head out and maybe park herself on a bench somewhere when she walked by a table and she did a double-take, smiling to herself as she saw just who was sitting here. "This seat taken?"
oasis rave event w/ @luckylewis
Christina couldn't remember the last time she had done something like this. Most of her Friday nights were spent, watching whatever movie Colton wanted but Jordan showed up at her apartment, told her to get a babysitter and come with her to rave... She wasn't exactly sure what the night would have in store for her or what she should even do with herself but she figured a drink would be a good start.
As she walks to the bar, a figure catches her attention. She turns to look over in his direction, heading right over to him with a smile on her features. "Hey you. Fancy seein' you somewhere that doesn't have a bathtub in sight." She teases.
Fishtown ; Karaoke Bar w/ @luckyswilliams
Ever since his return six months ago to his hometown, Sebastian spent a majority of his time partying at bars and clubs and trying to busy himself with distractions. However, the one time he usually didn't get out of control was when he hit up the local karaoke bar. As someone who used to sing on stage every single night to crowds of people, it was safe to say that's where he felt the most himself. While the small karaoke spot in Fishtown paled in comparison to literally any stage he's ever played, if you gave him a mic and he had some music, then he was a happy man. Tonight, Sebastian would say that his friend Lucky had been living up to his name since he had been personally invited. "I think I'm gonna go with a classic — a song that is timeless, legendary, and completely and utterly iconic," He said, words trailing off as he punched in the numbers into the karaoke machine. Two seconds later the beginning melody of Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball has made itself known and Sebastian couldn't help the amused smile that began to etch its way across his features. After an enthusiastic rendition of the song, Sebastian handed the mic to Lucky, "Alright give your rating, how'd I do? Go all Simon Cowell on me, rip me apart." A little criticism never hurt, especially from his friends.

The only time Mal smokes weed, really, is in social situations, or when someone she's sleeping with gets her feeling subby bottom enough that she'll do pretty much whatever they want. Or, most recently, when it helps her sleep -- but even then, she's mostly been sticking to edibles rather than bud, which is exactly what she's here for. And it's not like she has any crazy prejudices against the weed-smokers of the world, because it's weirdly hot on the right person, but when she steps inside and queues up behind everyone else here for the same thing she still feels a sense of better-than that makes her smirk to herself as she digs her phone out of the pocket of her thrifted, REDValentino trench coat. For maybe five minutes she's occupied scrolling her Tumblr dashboard until the dude in front of her starts trying to chat her up, at which point, with a heavy, dramatic sigh, Mal makes a show of moving herself further back in line just to get away from him, and in the process finds herself staring at her own personal ghost of Christmas past.
"Oh, for god's sake," Mal huffs. Her stomach gives a belated clench as her brain catches up to watch she's seeing, and how she's actively been avoiding this since she found out he was back in town, and how she hates more than anything being taken off guard. "You know, somehow, you're still better than that guy." She looks him up and down, then says, "You're looking...well."
