"Oh..." Wanda almost whispered in surprise as Mantis appeared behind her with a black kitten in her arms. Before she could react, the woman was putting said kitten in her arms and she automatically held it against her chest. "I....don't know what a flerken is." She admitted as she looked back up at Mantis.

"But this seems like a normal kitten...." She assured her a few moments later. She smiled softly when Mantis suggested that the cat might help her get the emotional support she needed. "Mantis, where did you get this kitten?" She thought it wise to double check, the Guardians weren't really au fait with property ownership.

Wanda was sat on her sofa, watching some dumb television drama and enjoying her relaxing day. She had barely moved all day, only to get snacks or go to the bathroom. Arvad had come to lie on her lap for a bit before disappearing off to play with some of his toys but now he was padding into the room, meowing loudly and pawing at Wanda's foot. "What is it, buttercup, what's wrong?" She asked curiously in sokovian, running her fingers through his fur. Both of them looked up when there was a knock at the door. "Let's go see who that is."

She stood, letting the blanket she'd been wearing fall onto the sofa and beginning to the front door. Wanda undid the latch and swung the door open, smiling when she saw who it was. "Mantis! This is a surprise!" She told her. Arvad meowed in greeting and began running himself on Mantis' legs. "Arvad missed you, it seems."

Steve had practically frog marched Wanda here after she'd spent too much time trying to help recover people and bodies from the rubble, but she wasn't going to sit still so had settled for getting everyone food and drink. "I didn't know whether you have coffee in space." She admitted.
