[ ROOFTOP ] : for your muse to find mine on a rooftop @abracazachra
“Oh, hey there~” Jax said, shooting the man some finger-guns. If there was anything that Jax wasn’t expecting it was someone else on the rooftop of his apartment building. A please he usually went for a little bit of peace and quiet. Closing the door behind himself, he eyed the stranger up before sauntering towards them. “Guess I’m not the only one who comes up here to people-watch.” He said with a chuckle. It wasn’t the only reason Jax came up here. He came up every so often to think. Especially when he wasn’t taking some things well. He’d always been afraid of heights and yet he’d come up to the edge anyway. Like a moth to flame.
WHERE: marvi's new penthouse WHEN: may 6th CLOSED for @zachariaswinchester
So far, the silver lining has undoubtedly been Meredith. Zacharias is as good of a guest as they could ask for, to be fair to the boy. He is polite, he's mostly quiet, he hasn't complained about a single thing since he arrived, not even when Ravi accidentally put salt in his coffee -- no, seriously, it was a genuine accident, and a testament to how distracted the new Seraphim has been. Despite the peaceful coexistence he provides, he is still an intruder in Ravi's home. Marcus asked for peace, and he has about a night of it, before their War penpal moves in.
Regardless, they have to make it work, and they do. Meredith, serving as the highlight and sole holder of the only source of serotonin in the penthouse, waltzes around freely after the initial confusion of moving into a new place. Ravi sets her on the counter as he prepares his breakfast, and marvels at the delightful crunch she makes when she eats the kibble from her dish.
Ravi eats his overpriced cereal and daydreams about being a feline himself, completely oblivious to the problems these stupid two-legged beings face, perched up on a stranger's counter eating their first meal of the day. It's quite the life to lead, he thinks. "Hope you don't mind, she was meowing, so I fed her," he greets, as he watches Zach appear around the corner. There's a discomfort to their dynamic, a weirdness that clings to his skin and makes the air of his kitchen heavier. He tries not to be too bitter about having to feel awkward inside his own home. "Morning. There are some fresh pastries on the table, if you want."
When: March 1st, 2021, late evening
Where: Bellum Nova Warehouse Site
Who: @zachariaswinchester
The night had started off as quietly as they had been in the nights that followed the explosions several days prior. Watching the footage on the news over and over again had set a chill to his bones, his ears almost ringing in an echo of the events at the PEST night club magnified to the potential of something much worse. Watching the footage had made him pale, initially. Muting the sound made it a little better, but for once Liam had decided to take an easy night at home with his cat and a nice book.
He hadn’t expected a text from a fellow power, however, and it wasn’t even the type of summon that he typically had come to expect to receive in the late hours of the evening. It was some thing all too mundane and really, Liam couldn’t believe he’d bowed to the request without protest. Perhaps it’d been the chilly touch of a window pane that convinced him to cave.
Zach: hey, you up?
Zach: just finished that book you loaned me
Zach: and would really owe you if you brought me and greer a hot chocolate 🥺
So he’d gotten dressed, hopped in his car and driven by one of the few late night coffee shops to pick up the request, a couple of large hot cocoas brewed extra hot to last however long it’d take the make do guardsmen to finish them. He’d even ended up picking one up for himself, but that one stayed in the car when he pulled up to the site where the warehouse had once stood, cup already empty.
When he stepped out of the car, there was an acrid bite to the air, a tinge of explosives and gunpowder that lingered amidst the debris and rubble even though it had been days since the devastation that had been wrought. It was one thing to see it on the TV, but to get a sense of the sheer level of destruction that had been wrought on the warehouse? It was... vast. Though he couldn’t spot Greer, it didn’t take long to find Zach, and approaching him with drinks in tow, he nodded towards the rubble. “...Well this looks like fun.” He asks dryly, not at all envious of the assignment. “Here,” he says, holding out the drink carrier. “Hot cocoa, as requested. Unfortunately they were out of marshmallows and sprinkles.”

“Something like that” Illyana commented without looking up from her current drawing. There were maybe ten other drawings scattered around her, some finished, some she’d stopped half way through, while others only had an outline. Art had always helped her with her emotions and now that she couldn’t feel anything she wanted to see if maybe this could summon up some feelings but so far she’d had no luck, and honestly she doubted it would bring any results but she was out of other options to try until she found a way to restore Limbo. “Zatanna’s not here right now if you’re looking for her.”
[ @mostpopularmagi liked for a starter !! ]
The show had been wonderful. It was a contrast to Zatanna’s, surely, but the similarities between their performance styles were not lost on Diana. She knew the magic was real, could feel it vibrate through the air. It made the theater alive and buzz with energy; the patrons who paid quite the fee to see his skill were awed and surprised by the ‘magic’ he could procure. Diana felt slightly giddy to be, of the few people in attendance, in the know.
Everyone filed and spilled out through the exits once the show was over, but Diana slipped away from the crowd towards the backstage area. Of course, she was stopped, but taking no for an answer was never her modus operandi. A forgotten tray of coffee and a precarious backstage pass were necessary for her to blend in; while money was never out of the question, the opportunity for stealth was there and who was she to pass it up?
With the small, cardboard tray now balanced in her open palm, Diana flashed her pass to a security guard before she quickly moved through the hallways towards Zach’s dressing room before anyone could truly question her. Her long ponytail bounced and swayed as walked, heels loud against the hard floor. Before long, she found the correct room and knocked on it respectfully, though her knuckles hit stiffly against the painted wood.
“-----Let me tell you that this is completely and unnecessarily loud”, Seven replied rather calmly at the animal’s barking although he was secretly panicking on the insides as he held his porcelain cup of tea and the plate with both hands. It was his fault... technically... he was in the book store when one of his... episodes hit and suddenly he was in this room of what seemed to be a motel. Honestly, he just wanted to leave, but the dog was making his escape harder than intended.
