Avery could feel him before she even saw him as the sinister feeling enveloped her while she made her way to the car. Her brown hues constantly glanced around the parking lot, but they didn’t spot anything out of the ordinary or at least at first glance. Her fingers gripped the door handle as the hair on the back of her neck stood up which caused her limbs to freeze almost immediately. The female didn’t want to look back in fear of what she might find; however, her curiosity got the best of her which is why she slowly turned around and found herself looking at a rather handsome male. “Um, can I help you with something?” Avery asked in confusion as she rubbed her lips together. She was well aware that they were the only ones in the desolate parking lot which was causing her heart to beat rapidly against her chest. “I have somewhere to be, so I honestly can’t stay. I’m sorry,” the dark haired female lied as she tried composing herself long enough to actually get inside her car safely but was having difficulty doing so.
