Nav took his final hit from his blunt and put it out with his foot. This was his time for deep introspection and contemplation, just wondering about life. “D’you know, I realized today that as kids, we expect the good and we’re surprised by the bad, but yet, as adults, we’re expectin’ the bad, but surprised by the good...” He said aloud, until he realized someone had sat next to him. Turning, he said, “Isn’t it strange, mate? Life’s really done many a number.”

“Excuse me, sir, but you’re sort of in the way,” Atta interjected, motioning towards the coffee station behind the pillar of a human being she’d just tapped on the shoulder. “I normally wouldn’t say anything, but I’m dying of caffeine withdrawal.”
