Keiko had only woken up about twenty minutes ago, due to the ridiculous amount of noise Darren and her mother were making in the kitchen. 10:20 AM. Really? She rolled out of bed and crossed the hall to Milo’s room, walking in without knocking or anything. “Hey you, get up,” she said, pulling the blankets off him and tossing them on the floor. The two of them had been out late the previous night-- she’d given Milo a proper introduction to London and all it’s glory: pubs and clubs and everything in between. They’d stumbled in around 4 AM, more than a little tipsy and loud enough to wake up everyone in the house, all part of the plan. Now, they were paying the price. “Breakfast, I’d assume. Darren’s been banging pots and pans together downstairs trying to wake us up. Sadly, he succeeded. C’mon. Game face,” she said, baby punching his arm before practically dragging him down the stairs and wrapping her arms around him to hug him from behind. “Morning, mom. Darren. Leena. What’s up?” she asked, acting oblivious to the tension in the room. “You two, finally.” Attitude from Darren, nice. “Yeah, sorry about that. We had a late night, didn’t we babe?” xwildestdreamx
