@ashesstxries wanted a starter!
Piper was used to walking out at night, even after vampires “came out of the coffin’. You had to be when you were a chef. Its not like New Orleans ever slept anyway. Still she had a can of pepper spray on her keychain and a literal bag of knives on her shoulder. She’d always felt pretty secure in that. She was more wary of people then she was of vampires anyway-
Which tonight seemed to be a mistake. The wind was knocked out of her as she hit a wall. Her head cracked on it so hard there were stars behind her eyes. She fumbled for the pepper spray though, aimed and fired. It didn’t do anything.
“Shit.” It was only then she realized her mistake. It was in her own eyes and was a vampire- not a human. Pepper spray wasn’t going to do anything. The bearded vampire hand a hand around her throat and was sliding her up the brick alley wall by it.
After grinning ear to ear for a solid ten minutes after her Halloween sporting game, Angela found Ethan as she'd promised to meet up with him during the festival. "You are lookin' at the number one pumpkin bowler, my friend." She chuckled, moving her hair out of her face as the wind displaced it. "Don't s'pose you wanna go apple pickin', do ya? Never get time to do it whenever this damn festival rolls 'round." @ethanheine
“what do you do if you have a song stuck in your head?” ethan asked, head tilting as he looked to the person he was sitting with, “i mean, i’ve tried everything, and i mean everything, to get rid of it, but nothing is working.”
---Suggested roles: Relative, significant other, friend, coworker
“Look, I can’t deal with this right now, okay?” Ethan was agitated, as it seemed the gig was up. They had called for some reason, but it wasn’t important today. His voice lowered as he continued, “it’s my kid’s birthday.” He had never told them that he had the child, but he did. Being a single dad wasn’t embarrassing to him, but he hadn’t wanted them to know when they first met, and it was easier to keep up the lie than to admit to lying.

“-- here’s your coffee.” she set down the fresh cup and sat across from him. sighing she crossed her right leg over her left. “nice to finally have a break - though i probably just jinxed us, or so jesse says.”
“Are you okay?...I really thought you were going to faint for a second.”
