"I can't decide." Roxanne sighed, taking another glance at the menu. "What are you thinking of getting? Maybe we could get a couple of things and share them?

“You dick! You could see I was going to grab that one.” Roxanne scoffed. “I’m totally telling mum.”

“Okay. I really don’t blame you for taking it one step at time, but wouldn’t it help if we saw the big picture?”
❝Well, not, ah, not necessarily.❞ Fred replied, rubbing the back of her neck nervously as she spoke. ❝I mean--I mean, sometimes when ya add in too many variables it all gets kinda jumbled up...ya know?❞
“So, we’ll try again and eventually we’ll get it right.” //For Fred :D
“Sorry.” the brunette chuckled awkwardly, fiddling embarrassedly with the crossbow in her hand. Her shot had been way off the mark and had only just managed to strike the edge of the target. “I-I feel like I could do all the calculations in the world; angle, wind, traject’ry--an’ still never be as good at this as you are.”
"I'm not saying I did, but hypothetically, how much trouble would I be in if I attempted to pierce Gunn's nipple while he was sleeping? And then locked him in a closet...." from Con to Fred.
“…”
“…Connor, honey…what did’ja do?”

Fred couldn’t even begin to imagine what Connor--it was Connor now, right? Not Steven?--was feeling in this kind of situation. Angel had been missing for almost a week now, not even a hint of a trace anywhere. No trace of Cordelia either. With no leads on either of their whereabouts, her focus had begun to shift to Connor. She couldn’t quite estimate how old he was (’teenager’ could have ranged anywhere from 13 to 19), but by her best guess it was mid-teens and by adjustment to the quality of life on Earth, he could have been mentally much younger. And if anyone knew anything about years in a hell dimension and re-adjusting to earth life it was her. In good conscience, she had to help him.
“Hey Connor?” she called, tapping her knuckles lightly on the door to the hotel room he’d claimed as his. “It’s Fred. Are you awake yet?” She shifted her weight side to side in a nervous manner. She never quite knew how to address him or what might set him off. “I was thinkin’...maybe we could go out for breakfast this mornin’?”
