margo was tired of cleaning up everyone else’s messes, putting out other peoples fires. . . her time working at runner records has been nothing short of eye opening, teaching her everything she needed to know about musicians and their ego’s, solidifying in her mind just how badly she wanted this for her career. she’d practically begged teddy to let her intern in the a&r department after months of being the girl to grab coffee, to make sure the bands never ran out of everything that they had been served on a silver platter. . . she was tasked with the job of finding the best new band in town, and margo didn’t even need to think twice. silk. it had to be silk.
flashing her backstage pass to the security guard on the door, margo made her way through to the closed off bar which was holding the after party. she’d been to countless events like this one, but never before did she have a purpose for being there. . . but now she did, and it was one she believed in wholeheartedly. it’s then that paris catches her eye at the bar, smiling in their direction before she’s closing the gap between the two of them. “that was an amazing show. honestly, probably the best i’ve seen all year.”
@curseplay liked for a starter.
