👋 : your muse slapping mine’s ass”Really?” Jade groaned as she turned and lifted her legs to kich the air frantically before burying her face in a sofa pillow. “Really?!” At home, she usually didn’t wear more than neccessary and it happened that she fell asleep on the couch with her butt out in the open. Yet, that wasn’t an invitation for slaps to wake her up. “You have per-fucking-mission to touch my ass, why do you need to do it now!” Still blocking out the light, she let out another groan, then finally peeked around for where he was. She would get him back good.🍴 : your muse making mine a breakfastWhen Jade woke up, a light breeze carried the scent of pancakes and coffee over to her, making her turn around again with a small smile - but then she realized that she was awake already and that this scent must have come from somewhere. Still trapped in a sleepy trance, she slowly got up and dragged herself into the kitchen to lean against the doorframe and spot a well-awake Vic making breakfast, a plate already ready for her to devour. The blonde rubbed her eyes once more. “Vic… what, um—” A mini-pause. “What did you do?” She raised her eyebrows in suspicion. “Broken anything? Anyone? Did you get me fired?” This had to have a reason. And before she’d touch any of this delicious looking food, she’d get to know it.😭 : seeing your muse cryingAs Jade entered the apartment, she could already tell something was wrong. Her enormous bag in one hand, a grocery bad in the other, she tiptoed into the livingroom to find Vic on the couch, hunched over, face rested in his palms, his back to her. “Vic?” Her voice was soft - not the usual loud, sarcastic greeting. When she got no answer, she placed her bags on to the floor and clamly made her way around the sofa, yet she moved as quickly as she could. Repeating his name again, this time she heard a quiet, unfamiliar sound. Was he … crying? Taking a breath, carefully, she kneeled before him, her heart racing. She had never seen Victor like this, never, to a point where she had asked herself if he could cry at all. Now he was crumbling before her and she already cursed herself for getting here this late. Her fingers made their way to his face gently, their eyes meeting, and she proceeded to pull him close to her silently for him to rest his head against her, not daring to say any bullshit like ‘it’s going to be alright’. Jade knew it must be a burden to overcome to show weakness like this, and she decided it was better not to ask, not to pry - but just to be with him, even though the thoughts in her head clouded her mind with surprise, questions over questions, and overpowering worry that had her breathing roughly. She trusted that whe he was ready, he would tell her. Until then, she would sit there, rocking against him gently as she held him close.👻 : seeing your muse scaredHer body trembling, feet barely sustaining her weight, Jade stumbled into Vic’s arms, burying her tearstained face against his chest. Violent sobs escaped her as she finally felt his hands in her straggly hair. Her hands lost grasp of her torn clothes and found their way to his back. The words that fell off of his lips told her that it was over, that she was safe now. But something about his voice was different - there was a tone in his spoken words that she had never heard of him before. Finally lifting her head as he directed her gaze towards him, she stared into his eyes, gasping not only for air from before. Another tear rolled down her cheek as she spotted an emotion never seen in his eyes before, not like this, not this obvious, not this strong - he’d been scared, he was still scared; terrified, and suddenly Jade forgot about the situation she’d been in just a couple of minutes ago and clung to him tightly once again, this time to comfort him. “I’m okay.” She gasped, over and over. “I’m fine.”
