Hawke swooped into the Hanged Man in his usual manner that night; big, loud, and ready to spend some built up energy. He saw Isabela at her usual spot and he beamed.

“What’s happening? We roughing up the town tonight? Hitting bandits, eluding authority? Or just cards and drink, because I could do with some cards and drink too. Home has been difficult to live with lately, and a little drinking never hurt anyone. Well, it has, but that’s besides the point,” he said, sitting down beside her, nudging her with his arm.
