For a few moments they watched in silence, Emma finished off her cereal and slurped the milk from the bowl and Cas raised a brow at her. “Sorry.” She chuckled and set the bowl down on the table and lifted the cat into her arms and kissed his head. “You really love that cat don’t you?” Cas asked and Emma turned her head up to him and both of her brows furrowed. “And you really love my dad don’t you? Everyone can see it, but the two of you.” The blonde tucked some hair behind her ear and smirked as Cas’ eyes shot up, he stiffened and shook his head. “I-I do not know what you’re talking about.” His lips pursed and he looked to the tv screen and Emma hummed. “Mmhhhhmmm, sure - whe are you going to ask him on a date, or vice versa. I can see it, and I’m pretty sure Sam and Aspen can too.” Cas wet his lips and looked around. “Is it really that obvious..” He questioned and looked back to Emma. “As obvious as it is that the sky is blue, Cas.” She mused with a smile. “Right..” He nodded and he sighed, petting Poseidon when he moved into Cas’ lap. “I do not know, I don’t want to ruin the friendship.” He told her and looked away as Emma rolled her eyes. “Oh come on, other than Sam and me - nobody means as much to him as you do Cas, you say something or I will.” She smirked and Cas grumbled. “Don’t you have work today or something, Emma.” The blonde got rid of her dish and shook her head with a smile. “Noooopopeee, just here to annoy you all day.” She plopped back down on the couch and passed the remote to the angel to pick the next show.

Flashback ~ a week before arriving. Before everything happened, Willow knew it was coming - the end of the world; the visions came to her. Some in dreams, some in actual visions - all of the same things. Death, despair, and sorrow. So now, years later as things were coming to an end and they were being directed to evacuate their beautiful home in Italy, to go back and help with things in New Orleans she was scared. Not to go back, but because of the timing and the feeling she had. Just as she packed her bags in their bedroom Willow looked at herself in the mirror, she could feel something was different like her entire life was going to change which seemed odd given all that was going on. She took a deep breath, tried to ignore every instinct screaming inside of her that she knew what was up, how in the last two months she hadn’t had her menstrual cycle. A hand went to her stomach as she shook her head and sighed. The blonde heard movement in the home, figuring it was either Jace, or their visitors Hayley or Hope she just dropped the front of her shirt back down and locked herself in the bathroom. She drank a glass of water from the tap, splashing it to her face as she shook her head. “This isn’t the time... the world is ending, I can’t be..” a single tear slid down her cheek as she quickly wiped it away. She wanted a baby so badly, she wanted the family with the man she loved. There was nothing more that she had wanted in the last five years but it wasn’t the time; their baby deserved so much more than a life surrounded by monsters in a closed in castle while the world fell to ruin. He or she deserved the world and so much more than that. With a sigh, she heard a knock and let the person in only for her suspicions to be confirmed by her niece, Hope - who heard a smaller heartbeat. There would soon be another Marshall arriving into the world.
