It was around three in the morning but Dominic was still up, guarding the pack as it slept, this was a new town, a new life for them so the alpha thought it was best to keep watch for the time being until everyone had fully settled into life here at the motel. There had been some tears and tantrums over the last few days which Dominic had handled like a pro, compromising with the family a couple of doors down who had a young daughter.
Right now however he was sat in a busted deck chair, dozing outside of his door when he heard a vehicle pull up. He spared it a casual glance before closing his eyes and tried to get comfortable but stay alert. It was the cry that finally stirred him to his senses and caused him to quickly leap out of his chair. It wasn’t any of the pack in danger, it was a young woman stuck in the taxi that had pulled up on the sidewalk.
“Hm?” He peered at the scene and recognised her face, prompting him to quickly go over and open the locked door with ease. “Do we have a problem here?” The driver screamed that she hadn’t paid him, that he needed paying or else. “Or else what?” Dominic’s stance and voice changed to a more dangerous one which was enough for fear to set in for the driver. “Come on.” He turned to Seneca and held his hand out. “Let’s get you out of here.”
