c-bedford replied to your post: I made it into an art book!!
Congrats!!! Sounds like such an awesome theme too! <3
Gosh, thank you C<3 And it is! Girl power feels all the way.
c-bedford replied to your post “Man some days I just have the overwhelming desire to file my teeth...”
there are cultures that actually do this already - i forget which countries but I believe some South East Asian and African ones! I believe it is usually females who sharpen their teeth iirc
I think I’ve seen those! <3

Short stubby legs are canon
You heard it here first folks the short legs are real
c-bedford replied to your post “Gonna try streaming in, like, an hour or so”
Ah wish I wasn't going to bed!!
You’ll just have to dream of me instead! *overly exaggerated wink*
Hello, I've been following you for a little while now and was curious about your thoughts/opinions on Orientalists paintings? I managed to get my hands on "The Orientalists" by Kristian Davies and he starts off discussing the debates of the genre (racism, romanticism etc). Perhaps I've missed your posts on works of this era (or maybe you're not interested?) but it seemed fitting since there is such a large number of works featuring PoC. Just curious about your own opinion if you don't mind!
Um, here are about 75-100 posts on European Orientalism and Orientalist fashion, writing, and paintings: http://medievalpoc.tumblr.com/search/Orientalism
There might be more if you change the “search” to “tagged”, as well.
