It was highly unusual for the vampire to feel nervous, much less struggle to move or speak. She could faintly remember feeling a bit of it as a human girl, perhaps once with a boy she had really liked, or when she had sown something she hoped her aunt would be proud of. Both times had been monumental disappointments.. it was hard not to fall into the trap of believing this attempt at a reunion wouldn’t be too. Calista had carefully tracked the vampire calling herself Alessandra trough the crowd, making sure she kept to her right and didn’t move too subtly. She was waiting for the right moment, which seemed to be a tricky one to find. All she needed, was for the silver haired woman to step a little away from everyone else, so that she could have this conversation with her without too many witnesses present.
When she finally did, Cali swallowed hard. Her body was tight with emotion yet her steps were decisive as she put herself right in the others path. “Sita? Thats what you used to be called, isn’t it?” she asked, ignoring all normal pleasantries. The moment was finally here and she couldn’t hold back or wait any longer.
