WHEN: Wednesday, 17 November, 1980; late afternoon WHERE: Epoch Lounge, London WHO: Felix Macmillan & Calisa Carrington ( @colorsofcalista )
With his classes finally finished for the day, Felix landed in London via the trusty Side-Along app—more than thrilled not to ever have to ride the Knight Bus again. Of course, the Epoch Lounge was incredibly out of the way and he could easily read textbooks practically anywhere. Felix would say it’s because the establishment had the best brews in Britain, but in actuality, he didn’t really have a taste for coffee. Really, he hoped for a chance to talk to Calista again, and maybe manage more than a few minutes of incoherent babbling.
After getting himself settled, he panicked, wondering if all of this came across as, well, stalker-ish. “Fuck,” he mumbled, bringing the coffee to his lips to drink it quickly and leave before she arrived and likely thought Felix to be a creep. Of course, with the beverage being piping hit, it burnt his tongue. He immediately spit out the coffee, internally screaming at the fact that the liquid now covered his textbook. To make matters worse, his gaze lifted to see the exact blonde he hoped to see then immediately wished not to see.
“Oh, god. You saw that, didn’t you?” Felix was certain his face was the color scarlet.
