this was so out of the norm for harper. she hadnt been to a dance or ball or whatever someone would call it since she was back in high school. it was silly really but when she had gotten the mysterious invitation in her mailbox it peaked her interest. she had asked a few friends and a few neighbors but no one had any idea what she was talking about. which peaked her interest even more. against her better judgement she dressed up for the night, getting her hair, nails and make up done feeling like a princess. though the real stunning and fairytale thing was the dress that had been delivered to her door. it was so far out of her price range and no name was left. though harper put it on and it fit perfectly even the matching heels that surely had to cost her whole tuition. it had sparked a lot of questions but who was she to turn down such beautiful things to feel like a princess for one single night. she worked hard, she deserved it. however the thing that she hesitated the most was when a car pulled up for a ride. she had hesitated to get in, watching far too many crime shows, but deciding to go all in she got in and was relieved when the car pulled up to a beautiful venue where music played as the front door open. taking a step in she thanked the door man and handed her bag over to him, walking a little further in to see a ton of unfamiliar faces.
