“Shit,” Marty exclaimed, pointing the gun at the large werewolf that had been hovering over the red haired woman. “Dana, don’t make me do it. Back away from the nice lady!” His order was ignored, and as much as Marty hated to hurt his friend, he knew she’d be alright in the morning, so he pulled the trigger, sending a warning shot into the wolf’s back. It had gotten her to turn around and look at him instead of the poor woman.
It seemed like a good idea at first until the werewolf was stalking towards him. “I’m sorry. Don’t fucking bite me!” He still had the gun pointed at her, but he really didn’t want to shoot her this close. For a moment, Marty closed his eyes, expecting a blow to the head or something, but the werewolf simply sniffed his hair then smacked the gun out of his hands and ran off.
He let out a breath he didn’t know he had been holding, then jogged over to check on the woman that had almost been werewolf food. “Hey, um, are you okay? She didn’t bite or scratch you, did she?”
