so i know the topic of “twitch chat hates keyleth” has been run into the dirt but honestly...matt and the rest of the cast didn’t necessarily make it easier for her. like matt in general was a lot less lenient back then but especially when it came to marisha, and you could tell she always found it frustrating but couldn’t really do anything, and then the cast would pile on jokes at keyleth’s expense and it’s like.......jesus it’s a wonder marisha stuck around. sometimes moments like this will happen and i’m like props to her for not leaving the table. god knows i would have. like apparently in pathfinder heat metal added damage to the weapon, but it’s different in 5e, so she cast it on vax’s daggers thinking it was the pathfinder way, and instead of matt saying “you would know that’s not how that spell works,” he just kinda...forces her to go with it? and liam being liam is like “it’s done, it’s done, i’ll play along” but you can tell it’s a genuine mix-up that really irks marisha and then the rest of the cast are like heeheehee keyleth did an oopsie! which doesn’t help at all. 

idk this ended up longer than i meant for it to be but tl;dr the way the cast treated keyleth/marisha in the early days sometimes didn’t exactly dissuade twitch chat from shitting on her endlessly
