WHEN: Saturday, 6 June 1979; early evening WHERE: Aynhoe Park, Banbury WHO: Vivian Travers & Joseph Nott ( @josephnott )
With the ceremony now finished, Vivian found herself shuffled into a secluded area outside the venue for photographs with her husband—a man she knew little about and cared little for regardless of the vows she uttered minutes before. While her future remained obscured, through her Arithmancy she knew her life would not intertwine long with that of Joseph Nott. This knowledge, as convoluted it may be, made getting through this day all the more manageable. Not to mention, she did owe Adrian a dance; her first dance.
“Your mother certainly leaves no detail unturned,” Vivian added in an indifferent tone as she stood regally next to Joseph, per the direction of the photographer. She loathed this day, the decor, and everything about this sham of a marriage. Her dress, however, Vivian did not loathe, not one bit.
