As a northern hemisphere resident it is always a pleasure to work on one of the southern hemisphere gems and NGC 3576 is no exception. The Statue Of Liberty Nebula is in the Sagittarius arm of the galaxy a few thousand light-years away from the Eta Carinae nebula.
